Wooden church is built on the initiative of the Kuzbass’ governor Aman Tuleev in 2008. Church is named in the honour of the saints of Mefodiy and Cyril. These saints created the bases of Slav written language, literature, science, culture, converted bible from the Greek to the Slav language, the sacred and church books. Chapel itself is unique in its architecture: its height is 33 meters, it is built according to the canons of Old-Russian architecture from the best types of tree (pine tree and larch).
